Director of Graphic Design and Production

» An artistic natural, Todd began his career out of high school,

initially doing by-hand renderings of company logos and other artwork for BW Johnson Graphics in Des Moines, Iowa. He was promoted to Art Director, where he took on increasing responsibility, including management of seven designers and print production people. Today, he brings more than 20 years of experience to SMC’s graphic design capabilities.

» As Senior Graphic Designer, provided the design of all packaging,

point-of-sale, and support pieces (e.g., instruction manuals) for company products.

» Special expertise in 3D rendering.

» Filmed and helped produce more than 15 product videos.

» Was the sole designer for five 24-page catalogs produced each year.

» Supervised printing production with numerous vendors.
